Jazz Takes Center Stage
Punta Gorda, TOLEDO. Tuesday, June 19, 2018. Jazz aficionados, those interested or even if music is in you come out experience and enjoy a week of performances and workshops.
The 4th annual Belize International Jazz Festival kicked off in Belize City on Saturday, June 16 and continues through next Sunday, June 24.
It’s centered around providing a learning environment and promoting jazz awareness.
Our participants this year are local and international bands and performers performing collectively.
Four hundred musicians from Belize, 250 children as well as the other groups are performing this year.
14 shows are scheduled, so there will be something for everyone.
These scheduled shows ensure that jazz, knowledge and experiences are shared during the 5 international workshops.
The Belize International Jazz Festival encourages citizens, tourists and music lovers to appreciate the use of outdoor venues, local cuisine and experience enriched jazz cultured nightlife.
