Lights repaired at Jane Usher Boulevard basketball court
Residents of the Jane Usher Boulevard area of Belize City can now use their basketball court in the night.
That is because the lights at the facility have been repaired.
According to a press release issued today, the repair of the lights at the basketball court in the Jane Usher Boulevard area was carried out by Gilroy Usher Senior and the PUP Port Loyola Committee.
According to the release, the lights will enable youths to take part in sporting activities at night.
The other added benefit of having the lights repaired, according to the press release, is that they provide illumination “for part of a large area behind the court that is otherwise jet black at night and very unsafe to travel due to the absence of any street light.”
