Man charged for rape of teenage girl
A man has been arrested and charged for the crime of rape following a report by a teenage girl.
Felicito Sho, a resident of Jane Usher Boulevard in Belize City, is accused of raping a 16 year old girl two months ago.
According to police, the girl, accompanied by her mother, went to the Racoon Street police station on Monday to report that Sho has been sexually abusing her since she was 11 years old.
According to the girl, at age 11, Sho began fondling her and then threatened to kill her and her family if she said anything. The girl says that fearing for her life, she kept quiet.
In May of this year, the girl says that she was asleep, when around 3 am, she was awakened by Sho having sexual intercourse with her against her will.
Sho has since been arrested and charged for the crime of rape.
