Man dies after falling off of a roof

Corozal Town. Sunday, May 10, 2015. A man reportedly fell off of a roof in Patchakan village, Corozal on Saturday morning and died.

According to police, 50 year old Emilio Chan was working on a roof around 8:40 am on Saturday when he slipped and fell to the ground.

Chan was taken to the Corozal Community Hospital with a visible cut wound to the head and was pronounced dead on arrival.

Chan’s body now awaits a post mortem examination.
