Miss Y pageant features past Queens
Belize City, Belize. Tuesday, May 5, 2015. The annual Miss Y pageant is set for Saturday May sixteenth in Belize City. But this year, the annual event will feature eight past winners of the prestigious title.
It billed as a Queen of Queens pageant and this family event will provide for an evening of laughter and excitement.
Guest performers will include the Belmopan Senior Steps and Mr. Mellow Madness, Emett Usher.
The participants in this year’s Miss Y pageant are Leotine Lewis who won in 1995; Claire Moody who won in 1997; Grace Coleman who won in 2000; Shirley Ferguson, the 2002 winner; Catherine Flowers who won in 2004; Anita Henry who won in 2007; Joyce Flowers who won in 2008 and Olga Cook who won in 2009.
Tickets at twenty five dollars each are on sale at the YWCA headquarters in Belize City, the YWCA National Resource Center in Belmopan and at the Bliss Center for the Performing Arts in Belize City.
