Motorcycles collision leaves two men dead
Dangriga town, Stann Creek. Friday, June 5, 2015. A head-on collision involving two motorcycles traveling in opposite directions has claimed the lives of two men.
The victims have been identified as 28 year old William Triguero of Sarawee village and 32 year old David McPherson of Sittee River village.
The crash happened between miles 5 and 6 on the Hummingbird Highway just after 8 o’clock last night.
Triguero and McPherson sustained massive head and body injuries and died at the scene.
Twenty six year old Lucita Chun who was a passenger on the motorcycle with William Triguero, received a large cut wound to her forehead.
She was first taken to the Southern Regioonal Hospital and alter transferred to the Karl Heunser Memorial in Belize City for further medical treatment.
Police say Chun is listed in a stable condition.
