New Honduran ambassador to Belize accredited

BELMOPAN. Thursday, September 29, 2016. The Republic of Honduras has accredited a new diplomatic representative in Belize.
Ambassador Nery Magaly Funes Padilla presented her credentials to Governor General Sir Colville Young this morning at Belize House in Belmopan.
Sir Colville accepted Ambassador Padilla’s credentials accrediting her as ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Belize and cordially welcomed her to the country.
Ambassador Padilla expressed gratitude at being appointed as Honduras’ diplomatic representative in Belize and pledged her government’s intentions to continue the work of strengthening the diplomatic ties between Belize and Honduras.
