Parents demonstrate in rural Toledo
San Marcus, TOLEDO. Monday, June 20, 2016. Parents of children attending the San Marcus Roman Catholic School in Toledo are picketing the village school today.
They are not happy with the Principal and Vice Principal of the school.
The parents took to picketing today after they say there was luke-warm response to their concerns when they complained to the school’s management about lack of transparency and the quality of education that their children are receiving.
The parents say they are prepared to keep their children out of school until further notice unless they can get a satisfactory response.
A representative of the Ministry of Education arrived at the school campus after 10 am today and went into a meeting with the Principal of the institution.
Thereafter, the Ministry of Education official called the Chairman, Alcalde and spokesperson for the parents into a meeting.
