“Pauly” to be buried on Saturday
Punta Gorda, BELIZE, June 22, 2018. The residents of Elridgeville, Punta Gorda are preparing to lay 68 year old Adolphus Selvin Bahadur to rest on Saturday, June 23, 2018.
Pauly, as he was affectionately known, was knocked down and killed on Tuesday morning, June 19 on the Southern Highway in Forest Home village.
The vehicle that knocked down Bahadur as he rode his bicycle, was a police vehicle, driver at the time by 40 year old Corporal Alexander Salam.
Corporal Alexander Salam was reportedly enroute to a funeral for a fallen colleague in San Antonio village, when the incident happened.
Adoplhus Selvin Bahadur was taken to the Punta Gorda Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment.
The family of Bahadur is seeking justice for their loved one.
Condolences go out to the family, friends, relatives and to everyone who knew Mr. Adolphus Selvin Bahadur.
