Pickup truck clips passenger bus then crashes off the George Price Highway
One man was injured in a road traffic accident on Friday near the Burdon Canal Bridge on the George Price Highway.
According to Channel 7 News, Calman Hall was behind the wheels of a pickup truck assigned to the Department of Fisheries that was east bound when it clipped the front portion of a passenger bus belonging to James Bus Line that was west-bound.
The impact of the contact between the two vehicles sent the pickup truck careening off the road and into the bush.
The Channel 7 report noted that no one on the passenger bus was hurt and neither was Hall’s passenger.
The news report said that Hall’s hand appeared to have been broken and he was taken away from the scene of the crash by BERT Ambulance.
