Placencia police notes increase in motorcycle theft
Placencia, STANN CREEK. Wednesday, July 6, 2016. Officers from the Placencia Police Station are appealing to owners of motorcycles to take EXTREME and abundant precautions to properly secure their motorcycles both in the daytime and at night.
This advisory comes in the wake of what they say have been numerous reports of motorcycle theft made at the Placencia Police Station.
The police say that while we try to adjust their efforts to combat this type of crime, they are at the same time asking that owners also take the necessary action to prevent any further incident.
