Belize City, Belize. Monday, August 3, 2015. Belize City police have arrested and charged four men in connection with the armed robbery of the northside Belize City branch of First Caribbean International Bank, FCIB.
A joint charge of robbery was laid against Patrick Jones, 22; Jermaine Belgrave, 33; Jareth Crawford, 30 and Emmerson Skyers, 24.
The men are accused of the broad-daylight armed robbery of the bank last Friday morning.
A police report issued over the weekend said that a manager of the FCIB branch in the San Cas Plaza reported the robbery and put the amount stolen by the robbers at $50,000.
Police say that following the armed robbery, the culprits escaped in a van.
While charges have been brought against four men, none of the stolen money has been recovered.
