Police find cache of cartridges in open lot
By Patrick E. Jones on December 5, 2013
Ammunition do not normally come by the gallon, but in Belize City, officers on mobile patrol found a gallon chock full of cartridges.
A total of 115 cartridges for a 12-gaugue shotgun were found during a search of an open lot on Racoon Street extension.
Despite detaining two persons pending the outcome of their investigation, police say no one could be linked to the cartridges and they have been labeled as “found property.”
