Police find revolver in open lot in Belize City

Police in Belize City are reporting the discovery of a firearm with ammunition.
Police say that on Saturday, they acted upon information received and went to an open lot on Gabourel Lane where they found a .357 revolver.
The serial number of the revolver is: S/N-1049579. Along with the revolver, police say they found a red T-shirt, red cap and a red rag, along with three .38 expended shells; two .357 expended shells and one live round of .357 ammunition.
Police are treating the case as a “found property” incident and their investigations continue.
