Police officers sharpen their shooting skills
By Patrick E. Jones on February 22, 2016
San Ignacio, CAYO. Monday, February 22, 2016. Members of the Special Patrol Unit of the Belize Police Department were recently engaged in an exercise to sharpen their shooting skills.
Sources say that 42 officers who took part in the event, turned out at the shooting range in Belmopan to practice their shooting skills.
The members of the SPU who took part in the day at the range are under the command of Sergeant Gamboa and Corporal Castillo.
We note that this particular kind of training is not a regular feature for the SPU and we commend the officers who took time out to head to the range to sharpen their skills as part of professional development training.
