Police operation finds marijuana

Belize City, BELIZE. Wednesday, November 9, 2016. Members of the police’s south side strike team and the K-9 Unit this morning conducted an operation at a residence in Belize City.
That search resulted in the discovery of two black plastic bags containing 22.4 grams of marijuana.
Police have since arrested and charged seven persons for the offence of drug trafficking.
Those arrested and charged have been identified as 27 year Tasha Almendarez; 50 year Karen Almendarez; 32 year Trecia Benguche; 31 year Roberto Montejo; 24 year Shaquawn Almendarez; 28 year Darnell Almendarez, and a 16 year minor.
