Punta Gorda, TOLEDO. Sunday, June 10, 2018. A relatively moist easterly airflow is currently the dominating factor in our weather heading into the work week.
A few showers and isolates thunderstorms have been affecting the southern and central areas of the country; while elsewhere, the forecast calls for sunny skies with cloudy spells.
Winds are easterly at between 10 and 20 knots, producing choppy sea conditions.
Temperatures will peak today at 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 92 degrees Fahrenheit inland and 82 degrees Fahrenheit up at the higher elevations.
The tides: a high occurs at 8:01 pm, followed by a low at 1:20 am on Monday.
The sun sets at 6:27 pm today and rises at 5:17 am on Monday.
The extended forecast, valid through to Tuesday morning is for some cloudy spells with a few showers and isolated thunderstorms, mostly over northern and inland areas on Monday afternoon, then over the south and coast on Monday night and Tuesday morning.
