By Patrick E. Jones on August 25, 2013
Reports from rural Belize district say that a little girl who had gone on an outing in Isabella Bank village is missing and feared drowned.
The full name of the child has not yet been confirmed but information received suggests that the child who lives in Sand Hill village had gone on an outing to Isabella Bank on Saturday when the tragic incident happened.
Unconfirmed reports say that a search is now underway to try and recover the body of the Standard I student.
For context, the body of the girl’s uncle was found in the Belize River near Burrel Boom village a couple months ago.
