Shaenna Gilharry to represent Belize in Miss Divali Nagar Queen Pageant
San Ignacio, CAYO. Thursday, October 12, 2017. Belize will have representation in the 2017 International Divali Queen Pageant, hosted by the National Council of Indian Culture in Trinidad and Tobago.
The event takes place on Monday, October 16, 2017. Belize’s representative is Miss Shaenna Gilharry.
Shaenna has been an active member of the Corozal Organization of East Indian Cultural Heritage, (COEICH) organization and has participated in leading roles in traditional Indian dances during cultural festivals, pageants and performances at schools.
She is now a Belizean Beauty ambassador who believes in the retrieval of the East Indian culture before it is completely lost.
Miss Gilharry left for Trinidad and Tobago on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 to prepare for her participation in the Miss Divali Nagar Queen pageant.

Under the patronage of the Corozal Organization of East Indian Cultural Heritage (COEICH), Miss Shaenna Gilharry was crowned Miss East Indian, Belize 2016 – 2017 by outgoing Miss East Indian queen, Miss Asia Gilharry .
Her parents are Mr. & Mrs. Shane Gilharry.
Miss Gilharry intends to pursue a career in Clinical Psychology as she grows as an independent, strong and ambitious woman.
She enjoys singing and dreams of becoming a professional singer to share positive messages through her songs.
She believes that singing has gotten her through many rough patches in life.
