Stabbing Incident On Burns Avenue

A stabbing incident last night in the downtown San Ignacio town has left one man hospitalized in Belmopan.

The incident is reported to have happened near the Belize Bank ATM on Burns Avenue.

According to preliminary information, the victim, identified as Windel Trapp, was attacked by at least two other men.

During the attack, Trapp was stabbed multiple times. 

Windel Trapp has since been transported to the Western Regional Hospital where he is undergoing treatment.

Police have one suspect in custody so far as their investigation continues.
