San Ignacio, CAYO. Monday, February 22, 2016. Fair and mostly dry conditions are dominating our weather at the start of the work week.

The general forecast for Belize and her coastal waters is for mostly sunny skies today.

Tonight will be partly cloudy and only isolated showers are expected.

Winds are easterly at 5 to 15 knots. And the sea state is choppy to moderate.

High temperatures today will peak at 88 degrees Fahrenheit in the countryside; up at the higher elevations it will be a comfortable seventy six degrees Fahrenheit. Along the coast, it will be at eighty four degrees Fahrenheit.

Tides will be low at 3:57 pm, high at 10:10 pm and low again at 4:43 am.  Sunset this evening is at 5:57 pm.

The full moon rises at 6:05 pm.

The further outlook, through to Wednesday is for continuing generally fair weather with little or no rainfall expected.
