Belmopan, CAYO. Tuesday, February 24, 2016. A fire on Monday afternoon on the George Price Highway gutted an SUV.

Police say that around 3:30 pm on Monday afternoon, twenty nine year old Souad Assad Lindo, a resident of Ladyville village, was driving along the George Price Highway when she noticed smoke coming from under the hood.

The motorist says that shortly after the SUV was quickly engulfed in flames.

The SUV is valued at $8,000 and no one was injured in the incident.
