A Belize City teenage boy is recovering at the KHMH after he was attacked and stabbed on Thursday afternoon.
Christian Martinez was accosted around 2 pm as he rode his bicycle near his home on Balan Street.
Police say that three men of dark complexion exited a vehicle and attacked the boy, and one of the assailants stabbed him multiple times to his left shoulder with what is believed to be an ice pick.
Martinez’ mother took him to the KHMH where is undergoing treatment.
