A 16 year old girl from a children’s home on Belmopan has been reported missing.
No photograph of the missing teen has been provided, but police say the girl is Romelia Limas.
An employee of the King Children’s Home in Belmopan reported to police that Limas went to church along with another young lady on Sunday morning at the George Price Center.
Around 1 pm on Sunday, the second young lady returned, but not Romelia Limas.
When questioned, the young lady with whom Limas went to church says that Romelia went to the bathroom and never returned and that at the conclusion of the church service Limas could not be located.
Romelia Limas is described as being of Mestizo descent, stands 4 feet tall and weighs about 80 pounds. Romelia Limas has long black hair, brown eyes and is of clean complexion.
She was last seen wearing a blue and purple floral dress and a pair of black and purple slipper.
Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Romelia Limas is asked to call the nearest police station.
