A 16 year old girl has been reported missing in Santa Elena town, Cayo.
The mother of the child Aura Alicia Isales reported to police that her daughter Wendy left home on Friday for an unknown destination and has not been heard from since.
The mother says that she went to work around 7:30 am on Friday, leaving Wendy and her four other children at home, when the 16 year old left without saying where she was going.
Police say Wendy is believed to be in the company of a 23 year old man. Wendy is described as being slim built, stands 5 feet tall, is of clear complexion, has long black hair and has a mole on the left side of her chin.
Police investigations are continuing and anyone knowing the whereabouts of 16 year old Wendy is asked to call the nearest police station.
