Teenage girl reported missing in Toledo district
A 13 year old girl has been reported missing by her parents. Maria Esmeralda Rivera, a resident of Trio village, Toledo left home on Saturday night with an 18 year old man from the same village.
The two, according to the girl’s father, left on a motorcycle.
The mother of the girl told police that she went to church on Saturday night, leaving Maria at home with her father.
While the mother was at church, the father arrived to tell his wife that the girl had left with a man, known to the parents.
The mother of the 13 year old told police that the man with who Maria left has been visiting the teenager for the past three months.
When she left home, Maria Esmeralda Rivera was wearing a black blouse, black jeans skirt and black sandals.
The missing girl stands 4 feet tall, has narrow face, is of fair complexion, long black hair with a mole on the right side of her upper lip. Police investigations continue.
