Tractor crashes into house in Camalote village
No one was hurt when a tractor crashed into a residential home in Camalote village, Cayo on Saturday afternoon. Gertrude Palacio and her family were in their living room when the mid-afternoon incident happened.
West Vision understands that the tractor, a front-end loader, is part of a fleet of heavy equipment that is involved with the rehabilitation of the George Price Highway in Camalote village.
It is not certain exactly what transpired to cause the tractor to crash into the house, destroying the verandah railing, the awning and the bedroom front wall.
The Palacio family say they are hoping that the damage to their home of 5 years will be quickly repaired. There have been no official report on the incident so far.
