Transport officials meet with shuttle bus operators in Toledo
Punta Gorda, TOLEDO. Thursday, January 19, 2017. Shuttle bus operators in the Bella Vista area of the Toledo district met yesterday had a meeting with officials of the Transport Department, including the Minister, Edmond Castro.
An official release explains that the meeting discussed issues related to the services that the shuttle bus operators provide to the public and the regularization and streamlining of those services.
During the course of the meeting, the chairman of Bella Vista Juan Carlos Martinez and area representative Michael Espat joined Minister Castro in officially issuing permits to the local shuttle bus operators.
A statement from the Transport Department explains that all of the operators expressed gratitude and appreciation to the officials facilitating them in providing an essential service for their community and by extension securing their livelihood.
In return, officials of the Transport Department thanked the shuttle bus operators for their expressed commitment to provide quality service while complying with the rules and regulations under which they must operate in accordance with their permits.
