By Patrick E. Jones on June 4, 2015
San Ignacio, Cayo. Thursday, June 4, 2015. The Tropical Atlantic, the Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico remain quiet early in the 2015 Hurricane Season.
This year, the Hurricane Season got off to an early start with the formation of Tropical Storm Ana early in May.
In 2012 a similar early start to the Hurricane Season occurred when Tropical Storm Alberto and Tropical Storm Beryl formed before June 1.
Traditionally, tropical activity in the Month of June is is not much, a trend which usually continues through the month of July.
But come August, things start to become active with the peak of the Hurricane Season typically occurring in September.
