Two of three escaped prisoners recaptured
By Patrick E. Jones on July 30, 2013
Officials of the Kolbe Foundation have confirmed to West Vision news that two of three prisoners who escaped from the Belize Central Prison on Sunday night have been recaptured.
The trio was reportedly spotted near La Democracia village along the George Price Highway this afternoon, and while Hector Garcia was captured, Roquel Tiul and Wilmer Guzman managed to evade authorities.
Late Tuesday evening, however, Guzman was taken into custody near Mile 30 on the GP Highway.
Roquel Tiul remains on the run.
