Valuables stolen from parked vehicle in Belize City

Belize City. Saturday, April 25, 2015. A man from Belmopan has lost some valuable belongings due to a thief breaking into his vehicle in Belize city on Friday night.
Emerson Burke, 43, reported to police that he parked his pickup truck on Eyre Street around 6:45 pm on Friday.
Three hours later when he returned to the vehicle, he discovered that it had been broken into.
Among the items that the thief stole from Burke’s vehicle was a laptop computer and Nikon Camera.
They also stole Burke’s overnight bag containing clothing.
A total of $4,950 worth of personal belongings were stolen from Burke’s vehicle.
A police investigation continues.
