Warm weather conditions prevail
San Ignacio town, Cayo. Wednesday, May 27, 2015. Generally fair conditions are dominating our weather today and the outlook is for similar weather conditions heading into the weekend.
The general forecast for Belize and her coastal waters is for sunny skies with a few cloudy spells for the rest of today.
Tonight will be partly cloudy. Shower activity will be isolated. Winds over the open sea and along the coast are easterly at ten to twenty knots.
The sea state is moderate.
High temperatures this afternoon will reach 87 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 94 degrees Fahrenheit inland and 81 degrees Fahrenheit up in the hills.
Tonight, the low temperatures will be around 78 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 72 degrees Fahrenheit inland and a cool 68 degrees Fahrenheit up at the exposed areas of the Mountain Pine Ridge and along the Maya Mountains in the south.
The tides: a high tide will occur at 5:25 pm. A low tide follows at 12:10 am on Thursday.
The sunset is at 6:22 pm. Sunrise on Thursday is at 5:18 am.
The extended forecast, valid through to Saturday is for partly cloudy skies with isolated showers.
