Watchman tied up; gas station robbed in early morning incident

Police in San Ignacio town are investigating a robbery at a gas station early on Monday morning.
According to information received, around 2 am on Monday, the watchman on duty at the Puma gas station on the Bullet Tree Road was tied up and his attackers proceeded to enter the gas station.
According to reports, there were two robbers, both of whom reportedly wore masks during the commission of the crime.
No official report has been issued by the police as yet, but information suggests that an undisclosed amount of cash was stolen from inside the gas station.
The 60 year old watchman was physically unhurt in the incident.
Police investigations continue.
