Weather remains wet and chilly in Belize
Belize continues to experience wet and chilly weather and the outlook is for the current conditions to continue into Christmas week.
The rain and cold we have been experiencing the last few days is the result of a stationary front east of Belize, but close enough to the country to keep the weather on the chilly side.
Winds are northerly to northeasterly at 5 to 15 knots, producing choppy sea conditions which at times become locally rough.
Anyone venturing out to sea is asked to exercise caution especially in rough seas.
The high temperature for today will be around 77 degrees Fahrenheit in the countryside.
The extended outlook through to Thursday is for cloudy skies with a few showers, periods of rain or isolated thunderstorms mainly over coastal areas of the country.
