Youth killed another injured

Belmopan, CAYO. Wednesday, July 7, 2021. A Belize City man, Stefan Bowen, 20, was murdered on Tuesday night and a teenager, Shenece Williams, 19, sustained multiple gunshot injuries as a result of the fatal shooting incident.

Police responded to reports of the shooting incident on Plues Street around 8 pm on Tuesday.

When the cops arrived on the scene, Bowen and Williams had already been taken to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital for treatment.

The two youth, according to initial investigation by authorities, were standing at the corner of Plues and Berkley Streets when they were fired upon by an individual.

While Bowen succumbed to the gunshot injuries, Williams was listed in stable condition on Wednesday morning.
